Support for this project comes from the New York State Senate and the office of Senator Elizabeth Little, Lower Adirondack Regional Arts Council, the Cultural Tourism Initiative, a project of the Arts & Business Council of New York and the New York State Council on the Arts and the membership of TVOBV.

The Battenkill Valley has some of the most scenic landscapes in the northeast (we may be a bit bias here, but it is beautiful country). Our back roads and main roads are perfect for touring by car, bicycle, motorcycle, or even on foot.

During the spring, summer and autumn seasons the valley hosts an increasing number of cycling tours, races and challenges. Please click here for more information about many bicycling events.

We also have a number of self-guided road tours that will lead you in search of antiques, historic barns, fine art studios, handcrafted local foods and cheeses and local maple syrup, depending upon the season you visit the Battenkill Valley.
